title:The World's seven best wonders
date:Saturday, November 25, 2006

I saw this from The Newpaper and find it very meaningful. Juz wanna share it with u guys.

A group of 10 year olds in a school in the US were asked to list what they thought were the current seven wonders of the world. Although there were some disagreements, the following received the most votes:
1. Egypt's Great Pyramids
2. The Taj Mahal
3. The Grand Canyon
4. The Panama Canal
5. The Empire State Building
6. St Peter's Basilica
7. China's Great Wall
While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one quiet student hadn't turned in her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble deciding. The girl replied: 'Yes, a little. I couldn't make up my mind because there are so many.'
The teacher said: 'Well, tell us what you have and maybe we can help.'
The girl hesitated, then read:"I think the seven wonders of the world are to see, to hear, to touch, to taste, to feel, to laugh and to love." The room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.
The simple and ordinary things that we overlook are truly wondrous, and the most precious things in life are not man-made.

So meaningful.

title:Let me explain
date:Tuesday, November 07, 2006

After pondering over y i looked like oldies, i decided to check out on the Zhao Ziyang guy... after some research and thinking... I finally understand this celebrity look alike thingy. First let me tell u more abt this Zhao Ziyang guy if u dun already noe, which i doubt so. hehe. Extracted from TIMEasia.com: Asian *HEROes* see again *HEROes* '...In the wrong place at the wrong time, Zhao Ziyang did the right thing...' , '....transforming the socialist system that set the stage for much of the prosperity China enjoys today.....' . Well this 2 quotes is among the many many good ones in the long passage, and the whole point here is that he's an Asian Hero. ok so much abt Zhao Ziyang, let me elaborate more before telling you the reasons y i looked like them.
For Hidetoshi Nakata, as any football fans or gals drooling over cute jap soccer players will noe, did i mentioned soccer player? Yes, he's one of the best footballer in Asia. For Mr Tung Chee Wah, he was the leader of Hong Kong after Hong Kong was handed over to China. And he did a pretty good job, and i have to say this in order to justify my claim later. For Conor Oberst, all i noe he's a singer-songwriter, something like Jay Chou but not as famous maybe cuz he dun have Fang Wen Shan to fill up the lyrics for him but the point here is that he's talented. For Vin Diesel, nth much need to elaborate on, there are already brand name after his last name - Diesel.. dunno got any connection lol.
After all these introduction, yes introduction, let me get to my point. My point here is that, for men, looks is not all that matters, wat matters more is thier character, personality, talent, leadership ability.. take a look at all the people mentioned above, they may not have the killer look, definitely not, but they have wat matters more... So i think this celebrity look alike website is VERY accurate! For me to look like them let me discovered wat my future brings.. it reads 'Asia HERO'... ok i'm juz comforting myself....

title:The Best i ever have
date:Monday, November 06, 2006

How can i not blog today? 06 November 06 aka 061106, wat a lovely date. Of course great things are to happen today. And yes, finally i can say 'ORD LOH'. My pink ic is finally back to the rightful owner. This is how my ic looked like during NS. See the difference the moment he ord? The smiles are back on the face, no more frowning...

My precious... haha

Looking back, this is not the most fulfilling 2 years i have, but i can definitely say that i've learnt and matured... shld be la. Its only like yesterday that i went to tekong with my mum n sis, dunno y, that day tekong served the most delicious lunch ever in my 3 months in tekong. Anyway that's nt the point and its been 2 yrs ago so no point complaining now. But i can still remember how tough my 1st 3 month in Tekong was, but i guess it is the most memorable moments that i have over these 2 yrs. Thank God that i get to know and meet alot of great ppl in these 2 yrs and they are the ones that make the journey more bearable.

Well, since i have already collected the ic. This can officially mark an end of a journey of my life, and a new chapter begins.. i guess for now till my school starts will be to concentrate and try to learn as much as possible at my work place. And of course at the same time have fun... Despite my previous list of things to do or blah blah blah... i guess the top priority now is to learn driving. Also suddenly interested in learing Scuba Diving, so anyone interested also? One of my colleague just started wakeboarding, so i asked him to ask my along next time he goes.. so hopefully i can have my first taste of wakeboarding soon.... time to Rock N Roll!... hopefully...
